I recorded ‘Water’ in a little community that we were travelling through at the time.. in 2002. I remember being in Maleny a few weeks before that and stating that I had this need to record some of my music.
I was searching around for a topic to record about because I didn’t actually have many songs written at the time..
And what came up as a theme was water.
Water. The theme of water as way for people to realise how precious water is in and of itself, and as a resource.
To change the vibration around how many people seem to feel about water.
Which is:
1)
the ‘scientific’ fact that fresh water is a scarce resource, particularly here in [Australia], it being the largest and driest land mass in the world..,
and 2)
that people here on the east coast (Sunshine Coast of [Australia]) use a tonne of water all the time, seemingly without appreciating the abundance and preciousness of it we have here versus, say, the desert..
The message I most wanted to portray with the Water Album, is to treat water, like any other precious thing on the planet.. with Respect.
Really appreciate it’s life giving qualities..
Without water, how long can you live?
We, as a species, as with any other species, are reliant on water. Without it we die. Simple as that.
Be aware of how you use water.. Be aware of how you drink water.. Be aware of the quality of your water.. Be aware of taking care of your water supply – that includes rivers, what you put down the drain, what you wash with.. It all affects you!
So, after leaving Maleny as we were travelling, we came upon a small community with a home recording studio in it, and a fellow called Immantz (ex-drummer for the Skyhooks) who just happened to be living there…!
I enquired about recording with him, and sure enough in the next couple of days that’s what I was doing, with a one and a half year old child still wanting his momma, and there I was the day before busily writing the song words for melodies floating around in my head.
That’s how improvised this album was. I had a topic. I had a dream. I had the opportunity, and I took it!
With both arms open and a lot of trust, the Water Album was born.
Water is designed to take you through different experiences with water. From being the creek’s water, to enjoying dancing in the rain, and appreciating the essence of water in all it’s forms..
It does this via the lyrics, the music and sounds, and the intuited Ancient language that I channelled when I wrote the songs.
It was researched by Hans Jenny in the study of Cymatics, that “when the vowels of the ancient languages of Hebrew and Sanskrit were pronounced, the sand took the shape of the written symbols for these vowels, while our modern languages, on the other hand, did not generate the same result!” – www.world-mysteries.com/sci_cymatics.htm
So many people have reported back to me that when they listen to Water, that these intuited words sends shivers down their spine, and they feel a divine presence when they listen to these Ancient words.
That is because, as far as my senses tell me, the channelled Ancient words are tapping into Universal Unity. Into pure presence and the healing or aligning vibrations of oneness and completeness with All.
In other words, sacred sounds that connect us with universal consciousness. Sacred meaning that which is completely whole and aligned with the universe.
There is a magical mystery about water. A sense of awe and majesty.
Even though there is a lot of controversy around the science of water crystals by Dr Masaru Emoto, my awareness of life correlates directly with the findings of Dr Masaru Emoto.
“..human consciousness has an effect on the molecular structure of water.”
“With regard to the molecular structure of water, our intent (thoughts), words, ideas and music have a profound healing or destructive effect on the water.
Since the human is 70% water — Ultimately it means that what we think creates our reality, not just emotionally but physically.
Since the planet is also 70% water these experiments have profound implications for the environment also — Could this mean that we could ‘think’ a polluted stream clean again?” – www.unitedearth.com.au
It’s not just our thoughts though…
“If prayer is so powerful, then why does it seem like the more we pray for peace, for example, the worse things seem to become? Without bias or judgement, is it possible that what we see as an unsettled world of chaos is simply the Field, the Divine Matrix, mirroring our belief that peace is missing—our “please, let there be peace” echoed back to us as the chaos of life? If so, then the really good news is that our new found understanding of how the mirror works encourages us to change what we say to the Field!
This is why the lost mode of prayer can make such a powerful contribution to our lives. Whether we’re talking about a lasting relationship, the perfect job, or the healing of disease, the principle is the same. We’re simply reminded that the “stuff” that underlies all of creation is a malleable essence that reflects what we feel!
So what we choose to create, we must first feel as a reality. If we can feel it in our hearts—not just think it, but also really feel it—then it’s possible in our lives! - Excerpt from Awakening the Power of a Modern God by Greg Braden
To really see the effects, one must live in constant prayer. A constant prayer of feeling that result in your heart.
And in feeling that result, when you place your conscious awareness in any place, for example, as being in the water, or in a past memory, then your consciousness actually goes there too.
How often when you are caught up in a past memory, do you feel the exact feelings of when you were actually living that moment?
The same effect occurs with the water album music, when you listen to it with feeling, you are actually being transported into another world. The world of nature and water. Of calm and relaxation. Peace and harmony.
